Nothing really came up in the search so just asking in a thread quickly...
Been lurking a lot and picking up some great strategy's that I've been trying on noble difficulty (new to BTS, and it's a whole new game to vanilla Civ IV) and someone suggested that the AI has problems dealing with the Praetorian's, so started up a game with Augustus and have been kicking a lot of ass
(still taking cities with the Praetorian's in 1900 ad!)
Never the less, after a little rexing and mostly capturing enemy cities very early in the game after building some Praetorian's, I had 3 quests, the make a bunch of swordsmen one (which I was doing anyway), the libraries one, and the forge one which I quickly completed due to whipping and chopping. Then later I noticed I had a unit called Heroes of the Sword (Praetorian) and wasn't sure where it came from. Did it come from completing the elite swords quest, or possibly from the forge quest? Has anyone seen this before? I can probably upload a SS later (at work atm.)
