Goodday to you all civfanatics.

It's been a while since i played c3C. just started playing the scenarios again and making custom ones.(for some reason the game calls me on occasion lol)

i'm new to custom made maps (odd, i know) and i encountered a problem.

i've added the assassins, spies, and more scenario and custom units to an epic game like scenario with special techs for them.

i wanted to make an assassin like unit but with Hidden nationality, to make it both more powerfull(it has a weak defense) and more realistic (i doubt anyone seeing a ninja knows who sends it) and to avoid a war because the opponents worker run into it(sheesh, the whole world ganged up on me during the middle age scenario because their settlers ran into my 'spy' assassin)

the problem is when i select the hidden nationality flag in the editor. the unit can attack other units in game without them knowing who sent it but it cannot attack cities and other settlements.
i wonder if there is a way to enable attacks on a city with a HN land unit

thnx in advance

There is for the AI, but I think not for the player. You should ask Civinator in the CCM thread.

The only way for human player is DOW. AI has no problem attacking cities w/o DOW except it has to have an empty city to take it.

now that's unfortunate. ah well...perhaps it's best for game balancing purposes.

also, it seems the AI does find out whose HN unit is attacking them when you capture workers. (indirectly of course). capture worker-->turns on nationailty colours---> AI pissed at you
