I just wanted to check if someone else got this from playing the latest GOTM with the Neo-Carthagenians. After completing the game it crashed, and it corrupted my high score file. Had to delete it or the game crashed everytime I finished a game (and it wanted to read/write the highscore file).

This may be because of some undocumented link between the internal HOF graphics and some of the face files.
We're looking into the issue long term.
The term "file corruption" may not be accurate to describe the problem where the HOF files may be looking for bandaid and huggy-kissy pics of Hannabaline.
I could figure out that you probably meant the Civ3v1.29 version of the game, but in the big picture that piece of information was key to seeing if any other players may have encountered the same issue that you encountered.

Yes, my bad. Should have mentioned what version of CIV I'm using (Civ3v1.29, as noted).
It is after looking at the "huggy-kissy" picture. That goes fine, the score/title board barbarian goes fine. It is after that it crashes. When it is supposed to show the score board.

Which gets the same crash result when finished even thou they are the in-game civs. So I had to delete my highscore file and then it all worked fine again. So it probably tried to write to the file. Didn't know what to do with it since it didn't fit in anywhere (with the neo-carts) and it crashed and it stored some crap data in the file which prevented it from working properly afterwards.

I had no problems when the game finished. Space victory. But if I try to pull up the HOF the game crashes as well. V1.29
OK the game didn't crash for me as I won either. It doesn't crash until you access the score board (one way or another). You can play, finish, you just can't allow the game to bring up the score board. But that has been solved now by deleting the high score file (a new empty one is created as the game starts)
I have the same problem, but I didn't even see HOF when I won

I too played the Civ3v1.29 version.
A work-around for the problem is editting the plain text HOFfile (with for instance notepad). You should modify the number next to Hannabaline to a number that is 16 or lower. It will then show it as a different civ but you can gloat over your HOF again

@buffetking: See my earlier post. The number next to the name is the identifier for your civ, you don't need to change anything else on that line, like the score...

I played PTW 1.14 and my game didn't crash when it finished or when viewing the HoF, but I never saw the HoF screen as part of the ending and my score isn't there when I go to view the HoF. Is there a file I need to edit like the one for regular civ3?
