Are CivScale and BlueMarble approved for use with HOF submissions?

CivScale alters the main assets folder (XML) so that doesn't work.

Graphic files are not part of the CRCs so I don't think it should be a problem. I would advise creating a save using the Start File checker on the HOF to be sure.

The scale part of CivScale changes XML files and does give spoiler information so it is good that it is excluded. The font / colour part of CivScale changes the theme file (not part of CRCs), doens't give spoilers and (to my way of thinking) is ok for HOF games.

I'm currently looking at the spoiler potential for BlueMarble - will let you know what I find.

Out of couriosity I d/led the hof mod, installed it and now I have 2 mods listed:

"American Revolution"
"Desert War"

Which one is the hof mod?

Neither. When installed correctly, the mod shows up on the list as "HOF Mod..."

Could you be a little more specific? Where are you seeing this?

My guess is he is talking about games like this:

Huge and large chieftan games respectively. They are displayed on the summary table by score, not finish date since all are 2050, so the 1766 is the score.

Its optional. I use it pretty often on the lower levels to get an extra city in the first few turns.

I'm not sure which is worse, that we missed that one, or that we missed missing that one. In either case, it's in the rules now as optional.

Hi. A question about submissions here.

How do I add a writeup to my game?
In the submission page there is a buttom for adding a writeup URL. Where should I upload my writeup, in order to get an URL I could use?

Easiest thing to do is just make a thread/post here in the forum and use that link. Writeups here in the forum are strongly encouraged.

I just felt a bit intimidated, since all the writeups I have read refer to great accomplishments like space launch in 1000AD or cultural victory in 3000BC.
