How are the turn speeds on Huge maps late game?

Are they really long like Civ V, or more like Civ IV?

shorter, by a lot. Civ 6 performs better than 5, their code is really well written this time... (.... outside of the AI lol) . I hardly ever finished civ6 games but i plowed a huge / normal speed in about 13 hours today

Possibly a bigger factor is that Civ VI Huge map size is only slightly larger than Civ V's Large map size.

(While Civ VI standard map size is slightly bigger than Civ V, Civ VI Large and Huge sizes are both smaller than in Civ V)
