How do I add more players to a scenario?

Hi all, I just got BtS and I'm editing (using notepad ) the Earth 18 Civs map (which came with Vanilla) to add more civs.

I think I have added the BeginTeam and BeginPlayer tags properly, but the new civs I added don't show up in the "Choose you civ" screen.

What should I do?

You need a custom CvGameCore.DLL to play with more than 18 civs.

There is a 50 Civ DLL coming with the Unofficial Patch - http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=297754

Am I correct that installing the 50 Civ DLL does nothing, except expanding the number of teams that can play? I am also planning to create a slightly different Earth Mod, but need about 24 civs to make it work.
