How do I edit a Hotseat game????

I have a saved Hotseat game and I would like to edit it in the map editor. I'm not sure how to go about it. Can I change the file type? Or is there another way to edit it? Please help!

I´m pretty sure it can't be done at least i dont know how to do it. Its better to edit the map and then play it
