How do I load up Civ directly to a mod?

I'm pretty sure there is a way I could load up a mod into civ without having to open up Civ first and then load the mod. Do I just point to the mod folder in the 'start in' box in a shortcut?

Actually, it's the "TARGET" box you need to change:

"C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod=/INSERT YOUR MOD'S FOLDER NAME HERE

START IN remains:

"C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword"

You can also just double-click your saved game.

i always load civ using this little utility program:
Civilization IV Mod Chooser
it's very handy.
