How do I make custom advisors?

I've only played Civ 5 up to this point, but I'd like to change the advisors to some characters from a few of my favorite TV shows but I have no idea where to even start. The last civ game I had was Civ 3 and I was able to mod it much better. I'm lost here.

You could replace their image .dds files with some of your own and then replace their text. You'd have to unpack your .fpk with Nexus to alter the .dds files. I'm not at my computer and couldn't tell you the path to the .fpk but there's tutorials online for this.

There's a mod on the ModBrowser by Zyxpsilon that alters the graphics. If you downloaded this mod you'd have the .dds files and could replace them, but you'd need to be familiar with GIMP or Photoshop to do that. Have you downloaded ModBuddy? That would be your first step.

CIV5GameTextInfos_Advisors.xml is the file that will allow you to change texts and you can open it from within ModBuddy.

I do use photoshop a lot and I do have modbuddy dowloaded. U'll look up the mod on the ModBrowser by Zyxpsilon shortly. Thanks a lot.
