I want to resize the Terrian textures, like someone suggested in another post, but i'm having trouble doing this.
I installed a DDS plug-in for Gimp and if I resize and try to save, it gives me a weird message about layers not being the right size. I check the layers and i'm not sure whats special about them.
The image in Gimp is mostly transparent, too. If I load it into IrfanView, it appears as a normal texture (but IrfanView doesnt allow you to save DDS files for some reason).
Gosh, this is just a big hassle. I want to get it done, but theres so many road blocks.
I cannot use the DirectX texture editor, so yeah...
Can anyone help me out in editing the textures?
