How do you buy with faith?

I'm not understanding this exactly. When I purchase something, it appears that I'm using gold as normal. Does it pull from different pools automatically? Can some buildings ONLY be purchased with faith? Explain please.

Also, is anybody having trouble with invisible units? Having reloaded a saved game, all my gatling guns and great prophets are invisible. I note barbarian composite bowman and some ships are now invisible as well.

I don't know about your graphics glitch, my game is running fine at max visuals.

Buying with faith works like this:
- go into purchasing screen of the city
- there will be buildings (if your faith includes those beliefs) and units with a dove symbol right next to them - the units have the same names as the normal ones, if you want to buy holy warriors, but they have their own line right under the standard unit and the faith symbol instead of gold.
- note that units are greyed out, if you have one garrisoned in the city, as usual

And just in case: if you did not pick beliefs for your religion that allow buying certain buildings or units, then you cannot do it.

you can still buy things, just not mosques and things like that. I didn't even have a religion, but I could still purchase a couple great people with my faith points.

You have to look closely, but there is a symbol next to the thing on the purchase screen indicating you use faith to purchase it. It's easy to miss, I missed it the first time I looked. I was thinking you did it on the religion screen.

As for the invisible unit issue, I get that as well. The units aren't actually invisible, they're displaced. I notice it a lot with people fighting near my area they'll be two or so squares away and melee, when the displaced unit dies, the attacker will march all the way to the square where they are then teleport back to where they're SUPPOSED to be. "Invisible" units are usually displaced into fog or under other units.

I have had problems with the unit icons not appearing and I have had some stacked units dissapear permanently.

Yes, I've found invisible units to be really annoying:

1. Sometimes I plan my battle strategy and that gets ruined by an invisible unit (e.g. I thought I had a clear path to take the city but it looks like there's an invisible unit in the way).

2. Similarly, sometimes when choosing my movement path I will accidentally attack an invisible unit I didn't know was there, or the zone of control of an invisible unit messes up my movement.
