I want to make a scenario with different team names and more stuff, but I have no clue how to do it... can anybody help!?

you can change the tribes name and the kings name and alliances, treaties ext, by going to the cheat menu and select edit king/leader,

Have you browsed through the scenario makers for beginner thread?

Anyway, to answer you simple question of how to change civ names, open the cheat menu, choose edit king and then edit the tribe names. For the "stuff", browse the thread and read all the various guides out there.

On a slightly related topic - Is there a technique for altering the titles used by leaders of all the tribes in a scenario when they are in different government styles? So far I have only been able to change the titles used by the tribe I take control of when I load an edited map from the "Start on a premade world" option.

To illustrate what I am asking - I am designing a Battle of Hastings scenario and I want to change the title used by my Norman tribe from King to Duke (more authentic) when they are in Monarchy. I would like to ascribe more authentic titles to all the tribes in my scenario as well. So what I am asking is: Is there a way of manipulating the game so that I can alter the titles used by all the tribes in turn and then save it as a scenario which will keep the changes intact?

Sorry if I have made this sound a bit overcomplicated but I hope you might be able to understand what I am getting at!

One way to do it is to change the rules.txt file. Near the end of the file you can find all civs, their leaders and titles. Titles are numbered as follows. 0=Anarchy, 1=Despotism, 2=Monarchy, 3=Communism, 4=Fundementalism, 5=Rebuplic and 6=Democracy. Just write the number and then new titles for male and female. (Like this: 2, Emperor, Empress) Now when the civ changes to monarchy their leader is either Emperor or Empress depending on wether the ruler is male or female. Simple, huh :D And not at all what you were looking for, right?

That method works nicely for standard games, but once the scenario flag is set, it gets a little strange: if a tribe's plural name (column 6 in the @LEADERS table) matches the one stored in the SAV/SCN file then the game only reads leader titles from the @GOVERNMENTS table and ignores those from @LEADERS. After saving a game as a scenario, change the plural names in @LEADERS to something different and you should find that the game reads the custom titles at the end of each leader entry.
