How do you label the map?

I can't figure out how to put those little tags on the map to label locations.

Zoom out until the view changes (other graphics, cloud cover etc.). Then look at the little buttons above the minimap. They have changed. Click on the leftmost (I think) button. A text menu will appear in the vicinity. In this menu, there should be an option to "Draw signs", "Name landmarks" or something like that (I don't recall the exact wording). Click it. Then click on the map tile you want to label.

If it's not the leftmost button, try the others - I'm not entirely sure which one it is.

Do these tags stick around after saves? I recall that was a complaint people had about it.

I haven´t tried it with Version 1.52 yet,
but in all other versions they don´t get included into your savefiles.

So you have to renew them every time you reload the game.

You can also hit ALT-S to place signs without having to go to satelite view.

Now you can put signs up without being in globe mode? And it saves them? Wingo! That just made my day. I guess its the little things in life...
