I have a question. How does the SDI defence work? What does it intercept? Only 75% of ICBM or also 75% of tactical nukes? Does it intercept nukes launched only from cities or also from subs or other locations?

We currently have a MP game in C3C version 1.22 and I've been launching tactical nukes from a city and they were all intercepted. However, my opponent is launching them apparently from a nuclear sub and they all hit the target.

If nuke is directed not at a city but just to a tile (Uranium resource for example), is the interception chance the same or different? How about if SDI is built on one continent and nuke is targeted to another continent?

If somebody has conducted some tests on the matter even may be with an older version of C3C or PTW, is it possible to just post a link to he test page?

This issue is very important for MP games IMO.

Thanks in advance for sharing the knowledge. :)

They hit 75% of ICBM"S and Tactials it dose'nt matter from where they're launched. An SDI protects your entire territory

^your sig scares me.

It is a realy usefull S.W.More than once it has saved my cities from an ICBM attack. The only problem is that most of my games finish before the teck needed for the SDI.

Exactly. I've seldom played beyond spaceship in SP game (only once in gotm). But this time we started Death Match with all techs already discovered.
