How long will it take you to call shields hammers?

I'll probably always call them shields.

I dunno. Depends on how much longer I play Civ3 before getting Civ4. Sadly, I won't be rushing out to get it in November. Need a new puter first.

But then, I didn't really call them shields before Civ3, it was just 'production'. Even now I still mostly think 'production'.

I will probably always call them shields, just because that is what I am used to after playing Civ III for over 2 years.

I see no reason to call them hammers, everyone willl know what you mean when you say shields.

I will quickly learn to say 5hpt instead of 5spt but saying hammers instead of shields is a lot harder. It has always been shields since the dawn if civ.

It depends how long it takes everyone else. If I am constantly reading about "hammers," I'll start to call them hammers sooner.

I may just refuse to call them Shields, simply because i cant be bothered to change. Then again, I might just start calling them budgies or something 'cause I'm such a rebel :O

They'll always be shields for me. I've been playing Civ1, Civ2, Civ3 for 10 years now, so it will take more than just Civ4 to get me to change!

I call it commerce, instead of trade, so I might adjust. But I'm probably a tad bit too used to Civ3.

I havnt stopped calling settlers 'colony pods' yet,so it would take me a few decades to use hammers instad of shields
