I am so confused by the ModBuddy,

I got the world builder quick and easy, and made my own version of the True Start Location Large Earth Map.

However I can't figure out how to actually play on the map, as when I go to "set up Game" I can't see my map anywhere.

I have made a "mod" that the game can "see" and activated it, but still I can't see the map I made anywhere.

Can anybody help?
I went through the Moddersguide pdf, but couldn't figure out where I messed up

Thanks

just save the map in worldbuilder to documents/my games/sid meirs civ 5/maps

then you can load it up from the map selection basic setup menu.

Well that seemed to work, I could see the map, loaded up the game and.... CTD :crazyeye:

Oh well, I'll start over and see if that helps

Thanks though

My map was crashing too until I changed a few tiles. Either it was the Whales on Ocean or my continuous Ice feature at the world wrap... I'm not sure. Probably those darn whales.

Otherwise you just stick the Map in your Games -> Civ 5 -> Maps directory and load it. I believe the Load Scenario (to avoid a random fresh start) option can only be toggled if you start a game through the Mods menu option. The Map doesn't need to be in a Mod File itself though.
