How to build an Army?

Hello All,

I've only been playing this game for about two weeks now, and have probably only slept a total of 10 hours during that time!

I've recently become frustrated at trying to create an army. My leader will hold a flag, signifying he's converted to amry mode, but how od I get units loaded into the army???

My apologies if this question has been answered somewhere else.

Move your units that you want to load into the same square as the army. You should get an option to load from there. I can't remember the key shortcut...but the load icon will show up.

Leaders can EITHER create an army or rush a city improvement such as a wonder. You have to FIRST decide what to do with the leader by putting him in a city. Then from the normal screen activate the leader and you get the choice to either build an army or hurry the improvement.

If you hurry the improvement it gets finished on the very next turn regardless of how much or how little you have done. Leaders are the only way to rush wonders.

If you use the leader to build an army, next you load units into that army. Activate units in that city and you get the option to load (L) them into the army. After the army is complete with 3 units in it), you can use it as a military unit. Make sure that the first attack is against a weak or weakened opponent to get a win.
That you can build the small wonder Heroic Epic.

Over the weekend, I figured it out. It looked like the problem was that I was trying to form an army in a city that was in disorder (as all my #$@$%^$# cities seem to be lately).

Also, has anyone received "Invalid pagefault" error messages? I received no less than 4 this weekend alone.

for your disorder problems I suggest clicking on any city governer, allowing them to manage city mood, and set the as the default for new cities and all current ones,
