How to create Farmers?

How do you create more Farmers???

you can change each house's job to farmer but i assume u already know this and are asking how to get more.. If you place your mouse over the food tab on the top left of the screen you will see the amount needed to increase your population. When this limit is reached you get a new person, from here you go to build and build a new house for them and select their job as farmer.

When a farmer and his wife love each other very much, and you force feed them 8000 units of food then... well you get the idea.

Note that the extra population point will earn you more trickle income for everything, not just food. Even if you make the new person a farmer too. The extra farmer will directly affect how much food you get when you hit that harvest button.

Also, I don't see much reason to grow beyond 16 anymore until that trickle bug has been repaired.
Sid said it depends on population and the trickle rate clearly doesn't increase when a city becomes 17 or larger.
