How to disable RevMOD in the current game?

Start custom game or custom scenario and checkmark the game option "no revolutions".

Yes there are a lot of game options but digging through them will cover nearly all preferences.


By the way a few hints how to deal with rev the right way -

if you manage to think ahead: for example if you know that at a certain age in your game conquering cities far away will not allow you to hold them because revolutions would occur will have you change strategies (burn to the ground and take captives home for example) and its more realistic. You also could learn to manage unhappy cities by bribing them (click on the rev bar in city screen) or building national/great wonders there (or anywhere in your empire) to lower their rev status. Later in the game you can break mighty AI empires in two by stiring up anti war ralleys or aid the rebels directly. Playing with rev on really is fun.
