How to download the update?

I have the game installed on 2 systems, synchronizing with the Steam Cloud thingy.
The better system updated automatically this morning, yet the other one does not seem to be doing this - how can I download & install the update manually please?

There is no way to do it as it is automatic. I don't know how fast is your internet connection, but much of the Civ V patches I've downloaded so far were done pretty quickly, so it very much possible that your game has been patched already without you knowing it.
