It's not new, I've asked (with no answer) in the little questions and answers thread if there were a hidden -1 Gold cost when slotting a Resource like 2 weeks ago.
Is it linked with the Qins' tradition "Cohong: Increased Trade Income"??? Because I really can't understand what that "trade income" is supposed to mean...
...is what you get when someone opens a trade route to you (can be a considerable amount of gold, especially overseas). A well-placed town with many resources can be much more valuable than it appears.
(You also help your trading partners a lot if you open extra routes with them.)
The values are just hard to see in the current UI (a sentence I have used a few times already...) It's almost hidden in your settlement income sheet.
My first try after the update: Isabella with Carthage.
Both VERY unlucky: No natural wonder anywhere, not even after exploring the continent for 30 turns. And I had ONE coastal tile in my capital's third ring
I hope this was only very bad luck. And I need that re-roll button!!!!
EDIT: Five more tries, and I never had any coastal tile near my capital. Is that maybe a bug?

- The grid becomes visible every time I load the game or move to next age even if I have it turned off.
- AI players don't pick up the goody huts on distant lands even if they stand on them (not always anyway).
- The list of independent peoples shows only the names of them when it could show the type, hostility and the suzerain of each of them.
- Repairing the buildings needs QoL fixes: If I want to repair all damaged tiles using money, I need to switch to purchase tab, select the type of tile and select the tile on the map. All these steps again for each damaged building. Also the last repaired building type still appears as on option to be repaired if I just repaired a tile of its type. I should be able to at least stay on the purchase tab if I repair using money. A 'repair all using money' option would be nice.
- When I click the 'Got 1 Military Attribute Point' it should open the attributes view on the Military tab and similarly with the other attributes.
- Hotkeys. On top of my wish list are hotkeys for Ship attacks and the Settler Lens.
- Trade route options. I'd like a way to see what's available before committing to creating a Merchant. Also hovering over the resource icons on available trade routes list should show the effects of each resource.
- Continue menu option apparently still loads the last autosave and not the latest save (not tried myself).
Hopefully these will be addressed on future patches.
There are more than one type of goody huts. One of the types are story huts who is available to all players and does not go away before all players have experienced itø.
That's how distant lands are implemented now. Those goody huts only exist for old world civs, new world civs can't trigger them.
So, it's not a bug, but if Firaxis would rebuild the relevant game elements into being more symmetrical (and they stated that they want to make the game playable in MP without AI, which assumes symmetry), this would go.

I am once again asking for you to confirm if I've lost my mind. Have the little icons showing the building present in an Urban district always been there? I feel like my graphics card is on the way out because sometimes things show and sometimes they don't but I've never noticed these icons before.
