How to get a forum mod into Civ IV...

I already have WINRAR, and can get scenarios and maps into the game...

But, when I put a mod in Civ IV->Mods file, I can't find it in game. Sorry if this is a stupid newb question or the wrong place to post it...

Maybe try:

From the Main Menu at start up:

Advanced --> Load Mod​
