How to increase font size?

Sorry, I know this is probably a frequently asked question and one which is not specific to Vox Populi/CPP but I feel that with the added text information in pretty much every tool tips the strain of reading them with my current screen and default resolution became too much for me.

I searched the internet for solutions but can't seem to find much info on this. I found a post that says you can modify the TwCenMT files (copying and renaming the bigger size as the smaller ones) but this doesn't work for me. I don't know if this is because Vox Populi or EUI overwrites those changes or the method just doesn't work anymore.

I appreciate any help or advice I can get on this. I can always lower my resolution of course but it feels rather silly not being able to increase the font size. And feel free to move this post to somewhere else if the mods feel this doesn't belong here. Thank you in advance.

It should work then. Just tested the same instructions in the thread with VP.

Well bummer, I don't know why it doesn't work for me then. Could you post a screenshot to show how it looks like after the change? I'm pretty sure there is no change for me but just in case the change is minor that I didn't notice it.

Edit: Nevermind it worked now. Probably I need to restart Steam for the changes to apply or something.

Unfortunately, doing this breaks the city screen. Most of the buttons/interface become unresponsive, etc. This is when replacing the lower sizes with size 22. Maybe you can get it working if you replace with a lower size but then I'm not sure if it will make much difference in readability. Oh well, I guess the only way left is too play with a lower resolution.

Edit: Sorry, turns out the issue is because I used the Improved City View mod but turned off the small interface option not because of the font changing.

I finally solved this. It didn't work for me because my font backup folder was in Assets/UI/Fonts as well. It had different name from "Tw Cent MT", but the game would still find data in it. When I moved that backup folder on my desktop (or any different place), It worked.
