I'm currently playing the Giant Earth Map, with Revolution mod included. It's working fine and seems like a great addition to the game. It took me a while to understand the mechanics, how to not constantly endanger my cities with revolutions. I'm playing the Earth map.
I occupied an Hungary city, and my people keeped complaining until I forced the final solution and got rid of the Hungarians by destroying them (at least their cities, some of their units have to be still around somewhere, but I can't find them). The riots where spreading from city to city and I had to give away two of them (mainly because they where much to far away and the culture inside cities where dominated by Hungarians). The result was that booth gifted citys (one for Romans and one for Greeks), caused trouble in their civilization. The Romes got in charge of it, the Greeks, however, ended up with one city revoluting, and are now in a state of war with a former Barbarian civilization that took control of the city (I think they're from Chile).
Just to see so much going on with this mod, is a real awesome addition, but this also open up some questions.
1. Now that i'm in control of the riots, how can I lower the revolution indicator? I think it takes little afford if i'm doing something wrong and situation gets out of control again. I'm afraid there are things about the mod I don't understand right now, and want to be prepared for surprises, or better, not even let it happen by lowering this revolution indicator...
2. Since I have very good relations with Greeks, I want to support them in their war against the Chilenes and capture back Constantinople, which once was mine. Would that cause riots again, or raise the revolution indicator? I've read something that wars close to my borders could cause more riots. The good thing is, Constantinople is not exactly in range of my borders (i'm playing as German and the city is where Istanbul today lies).
3. I don't know how often this question has been asked. But how do I find this holy mountain? I converted to Christian religion, and a mission orders me to find the holy mountain...
Is it, by any chance, located somewhere in Israel? Or will I find it near the one Civ that made Christianity? (the Spanishs)
Wonder when the mission appears to find the holy grenade and get rid of the Killerbunny...
