How to put a colon in a trireme

Sorry for my bad english, i'm a french person. I have discovered the sailing and optics. When i select a colon to put him in a trireme to travel on a other land to creat a new town.... i'm not able to embark on my trireme.

You can no longer put units in boats. Instead, when you research Optics, each land unit will get the ability to 'embark' - they can just cross the water on their own now. Be aware that embarked units are treated like civilians. Any military vessel will destroy them instantly.

Units can now embark and sail on their own. There is no need to load them on a boat no more. Whenever you research optics your units automatically will be able to enter the water. After researching Astronomy they can enter ocean tiles. But be very careful doing this as they are extremely vulnerable, make sure you escort them with a bigger ship, such as a Trieme or Frigate, etc...
