How to Recall World Seed In Random Game

I am not sure if this question belongs here or in the Customization forum, so if I am wrong, please let me apologize in advance.

If I have started a random world game, with the Preserve Seed option off, is there any way to find out what the Seed number is for the world? I booted Civ Assist but could not see an option using that program. I just started playing a fun side game with an amazing world and want to try to save the map.

Run CivAssist again; select world map and right click on it; select 'properties' for world parameters including seed. One thing, you must not only have the same settings (including number of civs) to duplicate the map, you must also have the same number of seafaring civs as before.

However, you can change the difficulty level and the civs.

Once you have the World Seed, nothing to do with Preserve Seed, check F8 on the game you want to recreate. Note the ordder and the civs as it is best to have them exactly the same. You still get some anomalies, but the map should at least be the same.
