Hi,
I've just quit a game on a certain map because it was too easy. Now I want to replay the same map with the same civ on a higher diffuculty.

I saved the map before deleting it, so I can reload the map whenever I want, but I keep getting a different spawn point. ATM I am starting a new game again and again with start bias on to get the same point...

Is there a quicker way to replay a situation with a higher difficulty?

When saving the game, there is an option to save the map. Later, you may set up a game on that map. World Builder allows you to load saved maps, in the Civ V folder.

I don't think there's an easy way to do what you want to do. You could open the old save in WorldBuilder, record every civ's exact start location, then open the saved map file in WB and manually add start locations. I've never done this but I assume it would work. I'm pretty sure the start locations are *not* saved automatically by the save map feature, just the actual map layout.

this would work. you could just set your own start location too, and the other civs will end up randomly dispersed... you still have to pick which ones you want added to the map, and which city states. after you've done this and saved the map you need to load it as a scenario.
