How to see whether Wonders have been built

I chose Pikachu--er, Pachacuti for my first Gathering Storm session (I'm playing on Prince difficulty for now). I'm leading by a comfortable margin in multiple categories, but when I decided to build the Machu Picchu Wonder I found that it wasn't available. I went down the list of requirements (mountain tiles inside my territory, can't contain a volcano, etc.) and even examined the production availability lists for multiple cities, but Machu Picchu is nowhere to be found.

My first thought was that another Civ may have beaten me to it (still a possibility perhaps, which is why I'm here), but the drop-down list of Wonders other Civs had finished didn't include it. Could it be listed somewhere else if someone else has already built it, or am I perhaps seeing a glitch?

Any help or insight here would be great. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I was never able to find Machu Picchu among the available Wonders. Has anyone else had trouble either making it come up on your Production list? I need to know whether this might be a glitch.

Maybe you need to have a mountain tile within your borders for it to be available?

I was able to build it yesterday. Not at home now so I cant check anything about it. I was pachacuti too

You can see the wonders when you dont have an appropiate tile, they just appear greyed out

I know, just figured maybe Machu Picchu happened to be bugged for it or something

Where do you see that list? I don't remember anything like that in the game, although I'd like to have it. Is it a mod?

Okay, on the right of the screen there's a bunch of icons which represent major events happening/that have happened during the game (example: crossed swords represent a war having been declared by one Civ against another). Among these are two pyramid-like icons, one gray/white and the other red, which supposedly list Wonders which have been built over the course of the game. When you place the mouse cursor over the gray/white one an alert appears to its left naming a Wonder that's been built by some other Civ; as the game goes on there are arrows which appear which cycle that alert through additional Wonders that have been built by other Civs.

The red pyramid icon describes which Wonders you failed to finish building in time before another Civ completed them first, and it acts the same as the gray/white one mechanically.

Last night while playing I discovered, however, that the first list (which technically SHOULD tell you all the Wonders which have been built across the map) is incomplete. As I scrolled across the map I noticed the Colosseum in one of America's cities...and it was not one of the Wonders listed by either of the icons on the right of my screen. I figure I can assume that Machu Picchu may very well have likewise been built by another Civ and I simply never got an alert from the game.

But I've been seeing some other things which lead me to suspect there may be issues with this expansion. I unlocked both Archaeologists and Naturalists awhile back in my tech trees, but so far neither is appearing in my cities' Production lists. I'm pretty certain I have at least one Archaeological Museum among my cities, so my concern is that the expansion might have some bugs/glitches happening.

But if anyone can offer another explanation, I'm all ears. I've played Civ VI for over 200 hours now and am still finding new stuff, so I realize I could have simply missed something.

I would love if they where greyed out slightly on the tech tree and civics tree if they had already been built. A nice little quality of life improvement
