How do you type special characters in the city name box? I am talking characters such as â? I am a novice PC user in that respect. Thanks.

I think that Alt + some combination of numbers gives you special characters.

we have a computer forum you know, anyway, just go to word, hit insert, go to symbol and wha-la

Check out this site for a list of charcters you can get by pressing Alt + the number pad. If that doesn't work, copy the character (Ctrl + C) and paste it in the city box (Ctrl + V).

In XP:
Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map

Use that program to find out what special characters are available, and exactly what combination of keys to use to access them.

睇唔睇到?

^ if you can read the characters above, you have the Big5 character set installed (SimHei). You need special fonts to view Kyrillic characters.

* Don't even think about translating the above phrase.
