How to use dust cleaning spray?

Just bought one. I applied it through the long corridor-like end, inside the openings on the top of the computer. I think it worked (the computer works fine now, before it would switch off periodically due to dust clogging the parts).

Is that the correct way of using this spray? Should i also spray on the back?

Open the case and use the canned air to blow dust off all the parts. Particularly any fans and cooling fins. When you only blow air in the through the exterior of the case, you can improve airflow in and out of the case a bit, but at the expense of not actually removing the dust from the interior at all. Where dust will kill you most completely is when the CPU heatsink and fan are too clogged up to move heat away from that. And you can only get at that with an opened case.
