How to use the Queue

I must be really stupid, but how do you use the queue?? I can't seem to figure it out. Help would be appreciated!

You just have to hold shift then you click on what you want to add in the queue. You will see what you added to the queue up to the change production window with a number indicating its place in the queue. Hope that helps.

Thanks alot... I'm not sure if they mentioned this in the manual, I just skimmed through, but they should include it in the tutorial, the tuturial doesn't help much, and it should.
