Huge frustrating bug with Defense scenario

The thing is, my units disappear for no reason. Sometimes after they win a fight, or just after staying still a while they vanish. It's not because of suicide bombers, nor because of maintenance, since I had a game with huge amount of gold and my warriors still vanished while enemies kept coming until I had like 3 units left (then I quit). There were no dying sound that follows their disappearance.
Anyway, if you have any idea why this happens please post it here! Thanx!

Its not a bug...there are suicide units that the enemy gets that kill your unit no matter what. I thought the same thing 1st time I played it and got killed the same way. Look at the pedia entries for the enemy units...

Dude I said clearly that this is not what I'm talking about!!
UNITS are DISAPPEARING into the blue during like ROUND 7 while FORTIFIED. No matter if they fight or not, they could just stay at the edge of the map and suddenly vanish!

I have had this happen to me too, it was after i saved the game when passing the round with the zombies.

A whole load of my highly promoted units just disappered.

Seriously they should make a fix for this scenario

Do you have scouts and spies? Panthers are invisible except to scouts, and one of the later rounds there's something only visible to spies. (I got wrecked by the latter, so I'm not even sure what they are....)

also theres a samurai unit that auto-kills units in the ajoining tiles around the one its actually attacking. very annoying. be warned

K lemme be clear: there is no dying sound that follows their disappearance. They just vanish like they havent been there.
