I just got my first augustus caser rating. Standard map, prince level, continents, marathon speed with a diplomatic victory. I know everyone else plays some ridiculous level that my game doesn't even go as high as....but I'm just thrilled with my win. By the way, do Diplomatic wins get lots of points usually?

Congratulations CivCorpse ... I just wish the game victory screen was a bit more exciting for you! I've always thought it odd that Time and Diplomatic wins don't get a video.
It depends to some extent on which form of 'Diplomatic' that you won ('Diplomation' where you essentially voted yourself the victory with your massive population, of a traditional Diplomatic where you relied on several rivals' votes) and how early you won as to how your score goes. Because the United Nations is 'typically' built quite late in the game (I know there are exceptions when you bee-line well) scores tend to suffer a little.

Congratz. I know the feeling when you finally start to get high scores with good ratings. I just got mine Ceasar rating on Monarch. Shaka is just plain great for that. Ikhanda's rule. Never had such an easy game.

I got my first Caesar rating on my second win with domination. Never got a diplomatic, culture, or score victory though.

Congrats. Diplomatic wins can get points by finishing earlier than other wins. Dom and Conq are still better for producing the highest score.

How many points did you have? I know I won a diplomatic victyory and I ended up w/ 1300 points.
I had 59,767 points and the year was 1622

Yea, I guess so I just normally get it in the 1800's because I go military.
