Future Techs could be a great place to put in Techs that only the CIA uses: Gamma Knife projectors, Tesla Coils, Techtonic-subduction satellites, gravy for the brain... Anyone seen "Conspiracy Theory"?

Actually I think a better example of Ingsoc would be when people were celebrating the chocolate ration being to changed to 20 grams, when it had been 30 only a few days prior. This is because Big Brother said it was never 30.
