the game finally ran perfectly after i changed to 0x and so did my apps. when i changed the agp back to 8x my system ran poorly and agp texture acceleration was disabled in dxdiag. i had to uninstall vid drivers and then reinstall mb chipset driver and then vid drivers.
unfortunately i didn't check if my other games worked with 0x or tried 4x first.
if i try 4x and/or fast writes off will i have to reinstall drivers if i want to go back to 8x?
i've goggled a few sites and forums with claims saying 8x is hardly any better than 0x so run 0x all the time. is this true?
is there a way to go back and forth between 8x and 0x without having to reinstall drivers?
