Disable the other victory conditions when you start up the game.

What usually happens to me is I start out shooting for space and then start conquering the world - Ooh, I need that 7th luxury I don't have or that wonder would look nice in my Civ. By the time I'm done, I'm close to Dom and, what the heck, finish off the world.

What happens? Do you have all the parts and Apollo built? If so check to see, if the game has ended already. If you or the AI has reached one of the other victory conditions, that disables the launch.

Past the year 2050 is one of the conditions.

One of the higher end 'f' keys will bring up the spaceship (if spaceship victory condition is enabled) to show you the current build status if you dont have a 's' on your map. If you dont have space race victory set up you wont be able to build the spaceship.
