I have a problem whit staring up the game

I have a problem whit the start up of the game.
when i start the game it loads and than i see the world whit the sun rise and sun set. but it will not go further and if it goes further it crashes instantly
i have already tryed to solve it by following the steps on the support web page but it makes no difrents.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Patch the game to version 1.61. Reinstall DirectX. Get fresh graphics drivers. What is your computer: CPU, RAM, graphics?

i have a AMD 2400+ runnig at 2000 MHz
768 MB RAM and a Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 Xt videocard
so thats must not be the problem
