I just want cool hats

Unfortunately, even if we get exploration-era Georgia with David the Builder as a leader Tamar, she'll most likely be drawn based on hisher iconography. So, noBut they will add a papakha. Papakha Tamar.

There, fixed that for you. :)

Well, yes, I wouldn't expect one on Davit Aghmashenebeli; those images are 1) Circassian, 2) Kumyk, 3) Circassian again, and 4) (Imam Shamil) Avar.

I do hope to make Georgia (David IV), Circassia (Inal), Urartu (Argishti I, or Menua) and Caucasian Imamate (Imam Shamil) mods. No contemporary depiction of Inal survives but in modern depictions he's usually given a chainmail coif and/or a щхьэрхъуэн / bashlyq, so again no papakha. Shamil though would definitely get a papakha.

Oh, inclusion of Shamil would cause so much stir within Russia. I love it

The best Leader for Georgia would be its patron Saint and namesake, Saint George of Lydda.
And yes, he has a cool hat:

No, the best leader of Georgia definitely has to be Davit IV Aghmashenbeli - I maintain that he is even a better choice than Tamar, who is maybe 2nd, maybe 3rd underneath Giorgi V Brts'q'invale.

Davit IV is typically portrayed in iconography with a crown, but a more interesting crown than usual because it has these strings of pearls or other gems running down either side of his head like sidelocks, and also holding up a whole damn church:

(Also no, St. George is not the namesack of Georgia, which probably ultimately comes from a Persian word meaning "wolves")

George would be a fantastic choice, but he's not a meme so I don't stan.
