... I was disappointed the Napoleon scenario was not carried forward into Civ 4 and Warlords.
The PTW scenario seemed to capture so well the flavor of the era when Napoleon was master of Europe: the colorful uniforms and flags, the specialty units and the give and take among the nations and kingdoms.
I really wish this scenario had been carried forward. I would have loved to have seem the colorful Imperial Guard, Janissary, Red Coat etc. units with the Civ 4 graphics.
Personally, I find the new scenarios in Warlords a bit ... uninspiring.
Vikings gets old after awhile with its single-player mode and no contact with other Civs. The Viking raiding was much more satisfying in the Civ 3 version of PTW.
Alexander's scenario is interesting with the new units but once again, it gets old after awhile.
Regardless, all would have been forgiven had they modernized the great Napoleon scenario for Civ 4 and Warlords.
