Hi everyone!

As I've said months ago, I'm still working in my catalan translation of Civ (Vanilla). Now I'm dubbing everything but, due to my lack of knowledges in sound edition, every single file sounds awful. Does someone have knowledge enough to edit the audio files and make them sound well? I'll maybe end the dubbing tomorrow, it's not yet ready.

Hey there. I think that I picked the perfect time to join the forums, as your thread was one of the first that I saw.

I can edit sound pretty handily. I have some pretty good equipment, Adobe Audition 3.0, and a fair amount of training. If you're interested, send me a message, let me hear what you have so far, and I'll see what I can do to help.

Great! All you got to do is polish that tracks (change volume if necessary, remove interferences and stuff like this). I think it won't be hard to do for someone who knows how to do this. You don't need more instructions, you'll see... well, ear what has to be changed. The only thing I can add is, since you can't catalan, don't remove any sound if you're not completelly sure.

BTW, Welcome to Civfanatics (or CFC in Civfanatics' jargon). You'll see that those who mod sounds and texts are quite marginalized here.

Well, marginalized or not, at least I can help. Why don't you send me a couple of the tracks, or tell me where I can find them and download them myself? That way I can get an idea as to what I'm working with, and maybe give you an estimate of how long it would take me to get everything working.

I'll send you via e-mail all the tracks tomorrow. Now I'm working on openingslideshow track. If you want to see how many work you'll do, then look at Firaxis Games/Sid Meier's Civilization IV/Assets/Sounds/Tech folder and the opningslideshow file you'll find in the Soundtrack folder.
