I Need Help!!

Hi all. I just got my Civ III in the mail today. So far I must say I am very disappointed. The layout sucks. Why can't I use the apple menus, it looks like a video game, too much glitz and glamour but annoying controls. Kind of like Mac OS X (which I don't use). Anyway, my question is, how do I change the font. I can't even read the bulls*** font that the game originally starts with and I can't read the preferences to change it. Please help me out with this, I am the ultimate Civ fan and I don't want to have to return this game beofre I even get a chance to get into it.

I have the Mac version of Civ III, and again my question here is how to I change the main font in the game. Thanks.

You can enable font smoothing which is in one of the preferances somewhere. They tell about it somewhere in the readme. I dont get why they have that wierd font anyway.
