Showing my ignorance again I'm afraid, but what the heck are you on about? ADSL? I presume it's something to do with the internet or programming languages or something, but have no idea. Please explain.

Thanks for explaining it. I suppose that's roughly about 8 zillion times better than my work computer that I'm using now. <br />I needed it clarified but also wanted to save you from having your thread closed - a one-word post is a bit spammy even with that many exclamation marks, but I think you will learn a lot about the capabilities of your new system from the experts here. Good luck and you can definitely download Civ3 scenarios on such a good connection!<br />[edit] - No, I realise that no Civ3 scenarios have been released yet - it was just a typo! Hope that the scenario authors are getting ready to show their skill on both Civ 2 and 3 soon!

You know what? Palehorse's cable is even faster! 250KBytes/s! yeah I tried it. I uploaded some 600MB to his hotline server from my work and his connection is really amazing. Uh 600MB of junk data, of course <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

And personnally, I would prefer download movies such as Shrek...<br />_ Yeah Dell, I didn't want to reply to all those doomed threads because I simply couldn't find the words to express my sorrows... It's so hard to believe they did such a thing.<br />_ back to the thread, Eli, you can find a lot of free educationnal softs on the net. There are excellent freeware (mathematics, physics, etc...) Good job! Myself I have got some of them. Very useful.
