I'd like to get Civ 1

Hi

I love Civ 1, I've played it a lot - although I never got to be as good as some of the guys on this site. Anyway, I moved and don't have the game anymore. I ran it on a *really* old 386

I'm wondering where I can still get the game. I'm of course wiling to pay for it, but I have no idea where to look. I live in Toronto, ON, so if anyone knows a computer store or something in the area, I'd really appreciate it.

And another thing. I'm using XP, so is the original DOS version compatible with this, or do I need a newer, modified one (I've seen someone play Civ for windows and a lot of stuff is changed - colors and sounds... - I'd love to play the original one).

It is still available. I bought a copy recently from OfficeMax; it was a combination CD of Civ 1 and Colonization in the Explorers Pack.

Well, if you are lucky. You might find Civ1 in an Electronic store Discount bin. If you are realy lucky, You might find it in a Garage sale .

hey man, i recently got civdos and civnet..they ran out of civnet, but they have like 30 copies of boxed civdos, and like 100 of jewel case civdos...ill try to get the link for ya
