I have to wonder why Saladin is building Stonehenge. I mean I guess its always nice to get to pick your religious abilities first, but its 180 degrees from his civ's unique ability.

At least there's a justification for it. Why is Mvemba even bothering, tho?

LOL I hadn't even noticed.

Is there a cheat somewhere to see how the AI is progressing in terms of techs/wonders? I know how to "reveal all" but a way to view their progress in real terms would be very helpful.

In fact, the XML lines have the attribute Favored="false" for Saladin + Stonehenge, Mvemba + Stonehenge, Mvemba + Oracle and Mvemba + Christo Redemptor (other lines do not have this attribute at all). So I believe they will never build them.

Mvemba should build Stonehenge just for the lolz :rotfl:

That also means a much better chance to get a Great Prophet, since neither Mvemba nor other Stonehenge-builders will get Great Prophets.

Well spotted... will edit now

That makes way more sense :)

Here's an interesting note. If you remove all the prerequisites and lower the build cost of everything in game to 1 hammer so that the AI can literally choose to select from every wonder/district/building/unit, one of the first things an AI does is build Chichen Itza. I don't know why but that Wonder seems to have higher priority than almost everything else.

Was that in the first turn? Maybe an AI that started near rainforest evaluated it higher because there's plenty in the early game.

Usually around turn 3 or 4. It's not the first thing they build, but close. I think you're right about the one near jungle rating it highly and grabbing it.

Well, if you were an Ai, free chitzen is pretty powerful early. 2 culture and 2 cog is pretty good I must admit.

I won't be excluding civs, but this list is still pretty useful since you can be more or less likely to build a wonder based on the civs you're up against and the fear that you'll get it canceled.

This is yet another reason to want better AI. On deity I have no chance in hell of making Chichen Itza (or certain other wonders depending on the circumstances), but the AI needs every advantage it can get so lowering the difficulty isn't a decent option.
