"I'll settle my damn cities where i please !"

I see the expanding part as completely stupid and unbelievable, on higher levels they still whinge about expansion....EVEN if you only made 4 quick cities and THEY made 8!

Completely untested and so wrong.

I can buy that they wanted a city down by those 3 cottons, but IF they never even seen those lands, why would they complain?

AI's should only complain IF they know the territory they are complaining about, not a mathematical stringent set into their AI minds. IF I plant my second city, before I even met them, they should be quiet, but of course coveting that spot. Not complaining that I settle too close to them 50 turns later, when they find the time to look where I am.

Complete rubbish!

Its the AI acting like a human player they thought it was a good idea :mischief:

Even human players aren't that stupid

The worst is when a DoWing AI sues for peace, giving you a city for routing them...and then gets grumpy that the city they gave you (you "settled") is gobbling up "lands I consider my own."

...what? I should have just finished you off, Bismark.

Why is it I can build a city in their general direction, then 10 turns later they complain? I don't understand the mechanic there.

Also, once I built a city, and they complained. Since I was finished building in that direction, I told them I wouldn't settle near them again. Twenty turns later they told me I broke my word. I didn't do it though. Is it my borders expanding? Is it that they just found another city? I don't know what it is, so I can't stop it.

The problem is that they see the original city where the complaint start(the city you settled close to them) as a new city
