Leaders will now face you in most diplomacy screens and your own leader will be hidden.

Currently effects all scenes except the Leader Defeats because they walk off-screen.

Known Issues:
  • Some leader models have minor clipping issues on the side you typically don't see them from. Nothing I can do about that unless you're willing to fix the models.
To install just extract the mod into your \AppData\Local\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VII\Mods folder.

Great work getting this out so quick! Is it possible to/have you considered placing the Civilization background art above the map? I do suppose it would look a bit weird with the current zoom animation and slight lag on UI elements...

Wow, very impressed in how you managed to pull this off!
It was way easier than I expected it being. All I had to do was change some angle and position values for each screen in one file. I expected the camera or VO to break but it all works fine.

This is a great mod! Thank you for your work, I agree with the commenter above, adding the art that correlates to the civilization played would be huge. Another point I think may enhance the mod is having the leaders face the direction they face in the leader select screen. It’s become apparent to me that some of the models are meant to face you at a sort of “off center” stare (Himiko being the best example of this, in the leader select screen, her model faces slightly away from the viewer, but her eyesight is directed at the player, this also hides the strange “lazy eye” she has for some reason).
Obviously, this is just something I noticed, and figured I would put to writing for you to consider, I really appreciate the work you’ve done already! :)

Great mod. Is it possible to have them closer to the camera? I think they look good in the Title Screen, but not so much in the Diplomacy Screen, and I think it's because camera distance. I don't need to see half their legs in my Diplomacy Screen, TBH.

Thanks. And yes it's possible, when I have time I'll experiment with a few different positions. I ideally want to make it configurable so users can pick which camera they like.

Great mod! This was a pleasant surprise of finding something I didn't realize just how much it mattered to me. It looks fantastic.

Thank you for this wonderful mod that significantly enhances the gameplay experience. - I noticed in the Age of Discovery that the civilization emblems are not displayed for the leaders. I'm not sure if this is a bug with the mod or the base game. Screenshot is attached. I'm currently playing as Frederick.

I've had this randomly happen too to certain leaders, not sure what causes it. What civ was Xerxes playing here if you can remember?

Looked at my old screenshots from before I made the mod and can confirm it's a base game issue. One of the games' functions is either returning or expecting the wrong asset name for some civs.
