tanks shold represent a number of units, like a tank bragade, and smae for every other unit in the game.
realisticly thers no way for a number of spear men to beat a number of tanks, like i said befor htay might take out one by tricking it into a cover up hole, but nothing to destroy the entire unit.
i think the game needs more cutimazation, for ex.
infnatry from usa are alot difrent from infintry from asghtanitsna, its not that one is elit and the other is a regurler or what ever... thay need it whear u can ajust a units stats to ur prefraces, and the weaker the less expicive.
or if i have a tank and you have a spear honest who is going to win what ami gonna run out of gas and even then most likely the guy inside the tank would have a pistol of sorts to just shoot you

There have been instances of Real life "spearmen" defeating Tank units. Take certain battles of the Italo-Ethiopian war (though the losses were horrendous).

There's a game called "Civ Evolution" or "Civ2 evolution" where you can do just that... As far as I remember (I played it once a few years ago) when you get certain techs, you gain a certain number of points that you can allocate to various stats, like attack, defense, horseback, etc. You can save up points or make units right away.
So you could for example save up points and make an ancient cavalry with attack 4, movement 3, defense 1, but it'd take a while and in the meantime you'd have only very puny units to build. It was an interesting concept
