Improving the Demogame (yet again...)

It won't really be something to replace the goverment.... Just making the citizens able to make sure the goverment doesn't become to powerful.

Also I would propose making a citizens group that's members make and handle fun stuff for the demogame. Like quiz's or other stuff.

The thing about a democracy is that someone is going to be ignored. In a rule by the majority, there will always be someone who complains. This is one of the problems with democracy: someone will always get screwed over. For example, in a close race between, say, a Democrat and Republican, the half whose candidate loses by a few votes will be ignored. However, America continues.

I would oppose Strider's suggestion. You must work around your problems. If your in either the majority and minority, try to compromise at the very least.. This is a democracy, where someone will ALWAYS be ignored.

I second eyrei. It is unworkable as we wont get any decissions then.

And to the "newbies":
Many of them are making good mooves here and will soon be in the so called "elite"... like veera, forty etc.

The problem is: Many of them dont take part in discussions. If you dont discuss, you cant expect to be elected.

Maybe our true problem is participation? And why dont people participate? About 50% of our population seems to vote but not discuss. We need to determine why!

I think we should just go to the 3 books, look them over, then remove all those loopholes. Its time to stop doing the legal rope a dope and just play the game, because as it is just a game. And the RPG does influence the game to a point. Tiles and such, thats where the rpg interferes with the game.
