Increasing number of ai opponents in Earth Map

Does anyone know how to increase the number of ai opponents in the standard Earth map that comes with the game? I like the size of the map but i would like to add more AI. You can add more AI in all the other map types except for this one.

Good move. Hopefully something gets done. At the moment its really hard to space the civs out properly so that you dont leave too much expansion room for one civ. In my earth games i usually have 2 civs in America and the USA usually ends up really strong. Also Russia usually gets alot of expansion room and usually dominates.
