Yesterday i was playing a game and got in Modern Age with Ceasar.I was expecting the roads to change into modern highways but they are still mud roads.I find this a big lack of attention to detail.
Also the planes never fly around the city and coast cities coloseums always end up in the waterl. It s not like sometimes it s always!!Like the colosseums would be floating!
Another thing i observed was the ridicilous existence of barbarians even in years like 2020!They could at least call them terrorists......
I think these things clerly show a lack of polish.

I agree , these are small details which improve the atmosphere . And tbh i feel like there are too many barbarians , and i never managed to colonize entire continents due to the unhappiness which results in barbarians annoying me until the end of the game... Barbarians should stop or at least have a reduced spawning once you enter the Renaissance .

I too was very concerned about the game's lack of Polish, but since Warsaw is already in the game as only a minor city-state, it seems unlikely we will be given the chance to guide Lech Walesa to glory in a future expansion or DLC. :(

There is also Lisbon as city state. I really doubt a Portuguese civilization will not be introduced in future. I don't think that replacing Warsaw or Lisbon with new city states would be that hard considered how CS are generic right now.So there is in my opinion no reason to fear it ;)
